Reworked the core flow
Rebuilt the main workflow in Villix from scratch after watching real users struggle. Painful to throw away working code, but the new version is far clearer.
Villix is a free iOS spending tracker with no ads. It helps you track expenses, scan receipts, organize purchases, split transactions, and understand your spending habits in one place. What makes Villix different is item level tracking. Most banking apps only show merchant names and totals, like “$21 at Noe Cafe.” Villix can turn receipts into actual items, like “Latte $6” and “Chicken Pesto Panini $15,” so you know what you really bought. You can also view scanned items on a map, search past purchases, compare prices by location, and spot habits that keep repeating. Built for students and everyday users who want a clearer way to manage money without spreadsheets.
