What I learned shipping WonderWay this month
A month in. Some things landed, some didn't. Biggest lesson: people use it differently than I designed for, and that's fine — following the usage, not my plan.
WonderWay is a screen-free audio story app for kids aged 3–10, built for parents who are done fighting over tablets and YouTube. Instead of passive screen time, kids listen to professionally narrated stories with real voice actors — STEM adventures that make science click, moral tales that teach kindness and resilience, and interactive choose-your-path stories where every listen is different. What makes WonderWay different: → 100% screen-free & audio-only (less blue light, better focus) → No ads, no algorithms, no surprises → STEM stories that make complex topics simple and fun → Multi-narrator performances — like theater for the ears → Wayfinder dashboard so parents track what kids are learning → Bedtime tracks to wind down the evening Parents aren't just buying stories. They're buying the guilt-free break that comes when their child is genuinely engaged in something good.
