What I learned shipping YCaaS this month
A month in. Some things landed, some didn't. Biggest lesson: people use it differently than I designed for, and that's fine — following the usage, not my plan.
YCaaS — Y(f) = f(Y(f)) as a Service — is an AI-native, agent-driven Y Combinator. Instead of three months building an MVP, you enter a vision and a swarm of specialized agents acts as both accelerator and founding team. Every role is an agent, never a person: a strategist agent pressure-tests the idea and proposes pivots; an architect agent emits the PRD; frontend, backend, DevOps, design, and QA agents collaborate in a shared workspace to ship the MVP; an ops-and-legal agent incorporates the LLC, registers the domain, and sets up banking; a simulation agent spins up persona users to surface edge cases pre-launch; a growth agent runs go-to-market — landing copy, ads, cold outreach; on Demo Day, a pitch agent emits the deck, one-pager, and data room. The output is a fully built, legally incorporated, ready-to-revenue startup — handed back to you, or pitched to an automated seed fund. Founders skip the grind; the swarm does the work.
