Peerpoints are Peerpitch's community reputation score — a running tally of how actively you're building in public, supporting fellow founders, and engaging with the products around you. The more you show up and contribute, the more Peerpoints you accumulate. They don't expire, they don't reset, and they're visible to everyone on the platform.
Where Peerpoints Appear
Peerpoints surface in three main places across Peerpitch:
Your profile
Your total Peerpoints are displayed prominently on your public profile at peerpitch.co/your-handle.
Builders leaderboard
The Builders leaderboard ranks every builder by streak and shows their Peerpoints total alongside their streak data.
Launchpad listings
Every product card on the Launchpad shows how many Peerpoints that product has earned through upvotes and reviews during its launch week.
How to Earn Peerpoints
You earn Peerpoints by being an active, contributing member of the community. Here's a breakdown of every action that counts:
| Action | Notes | |---|---| | Post a daily update | Sharing what you shipped, learned, or got stuck on earns points for each post | | Maintain a posting streak | Consistent daily posts compound your Peerpoints faster than sporadic activity | | Upvote products on Launchpad | Each upvote you cast on a Launchpad product earns points for you — and adds to that product's total | | Leave a review on Launchpad | Written reviews carry more weight than upvotes alone and earn a meaningful Peerpoints bonus | | Review projects in Buildspace | Leaving feedback on projects in the community directory earns Peerpoints for your effort | | React and comment on posts | Engaging with posts in the feed contributes to your community score over time |
Reviewing products on the Launchpad is one of the fastest ways to stack Peerpoints quickly. A single thoughtful review earns you more than a handful of upvotes — and it directly helps another builder improve their product. Open the Launchpad and leave a review on a product you've tried.
Real Examples from the Leaderboard
Peerpoints accumulate over time. Here's what the score distribution actually looks like across active builders on Peerpitch:
| Builder | Building | Peerpoints | |---|---|---| | Priya Nair | Email warmup tool | 5,530 | | Anonymous | Public Domain Countdown | 2,507 | | Lena Vogel | Indie analytics | 1,542 |
Some active builders show 0 Peerpoints — this is completely normal if they've just joined or haven't yet taken actions that award them. Peerpoints build steadily with consistent activity; there's no shortcut, but there's also no ceiling.
Peerpoints on Launchpad Products
When a product is listed on the Launchpad, it accumulates its own Peerpoints total from community engagement during the launch week. This total is shown directly on the product card and influences its ranking.
For example, from Launchpad Week 23, 2026:
| Product | Upvotes | Peerpoints Earned | |---|---|---| | Aura Reader | 70 | 61 | | Backlyst | 62 | 56 | | Batman Pinball | 61 | 46 |
The more your community engages with your launch — upvoting and reviewing — the higher your product's Peerpoints total climbs, and the better it ranks within the week's listings.
